Best Practices Guidelines” – within the Thailand Property Market
In recent years we have seen a large increase of Swedish affiliated property companies commencing real estate developments in Thailand primarily geared towards Swedish buyers. This has grown considerably in size becoming an essential investment and business as well as a significant part of the Thailand-Sweden relationship affecting thousands of people. The Second Home Market in Thailand is an extension of Tourism and linked to it. The tourists – with positive impressions – become repeat visitors with an increasing number wishing to Long Stay and acquire a Second Home in Thailand bringing significant investments and spending with them as well as generating more Visitors and Tourism. The Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Thailand has initiated a Project aimed at adhering to Best Practices within the Thailand property sector geared towards Buyers, Brokers, Investors, Developers of property in Thailand and all other Stakeholders using the Chamber platform and Member Network as the vehicle.
