IKEA X SweCham at Swedish Week 2025, 5 to 11 April 2025

From April 5th to 11th, 2025, SweCham proudly collaborated with IKEA and four of our esteemed Swedish member companies—Electrolux, Fitness24Seven, Fysik, and THE THREE BY TPV—to host a vibrant Swedish Week, celebrating the launch of the new Stockholm 25 collection. Guests at IKEA Bangna's Smaland area were immersed in engaging activities, captivating product showcases, and compelling storytelling that beautifully connected Swedish innovation with the rich tapestry of local culture.
The Stockholm 25 collection epitomizes IKEA's democratic design ethos, seamlessly uniting elegant Scandinavian aesthetics with premium materials and exceptional functionality, all offered at an accessible price point. Each piece thoughtfully embodies five core principles: form, function, quality, sustainability, and affordability, ensuring enduring beauty and lasting durability.
This significant launch was perfectly aligned with our Swedish Week campaign, a joint initiative dedicated to sharing the essence of Swedish values and the Scandinavian lifestyle. Much like the timeless design and meticulous detail of the STOCKHOLM collection create warm and inviting homes, Swedish Week aimed to convey the core tenets of Scandinavian living – a profound appreciation for functionality, the beauty of natural materials, and a strong emphasis on well-being. By democratizing sustainable and high-quality design, the STOCKHOLM collection powerfully reflects the very principles we championed throughout Swedish Week. We invited attendees to discover firsthand how Swedish design can elevate their daily lives.
Furthermore, this collaborative campaign between SweCham, our valued members, and friends served as a dynamic platform to strengthen the bonds between Swedish businesses and the Thai public. It fostered cultural exchange and facilitated soft diplomacy, directly supporting SweCham’s core mission to promote Swedish interests within Thailand.

FYSIK started back in 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand, as a passion project between husband-and-wife duo Henrik (originally from Älmhult, Sweden) and Amm (born in Bangkok).
Henrik, a personal trainer with a love for design and craftsmanship, teamed up with Amm, who brought years of experience from the steel industry. Together, they set out to rethink gym equipment—making it not just functional, but beautiful too.
The idea first came about while they were setting up their own personal training studio. They didn’t want the usual bulky, intimidating machines. Instead, they imagined gym pieces that felt more like sculptural furniture—something you’d be proud to have in your home.
What began as a small idea quickly grew. Today, FYSIK is known around the world for its handcrafted equipment that blends clean Scandinavian design with the warmth and skill of Thai craftsmanship. You’ll find FYSIK pieces in luxury homes, five-star hotels, boutique gyms—and even on Hollywood film sets.
