PPWR: EU’s New Packaging Regulation, Wednesday 16 September 2026

On 16 September, SweCham, together with Nefab, hosted the webinar “𝗣𝗣𝗪𝗥: 𝗘𝗨’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻”, bringing together participants interested in understanding the new requirements and their implications for businesses exporting to the European market.

We are very happy to have seen such strong interest in the topic and would like to thank everyone who joined the session.

During the webinar, 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂, Vice President Sales & Marketing APAC at Nefab, provided an overview of the EU’s new 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗣𝗣𝗪𝗥), including its implementation timeline and key implications for exporters in Asia.

The session also highlighted practical considerations for companies preparing for the new requirements, including how businesses can approach compliance while optimizing packaging and supply chain costs.
