Sustainability Business Forum (SBF) 2026, Thursday 28 May 2026

On 28 May 2026, business leaders, sustainability experts, and industry professionals gathered at The Athenee Hotel Bangkok for the 9th edition of the Sustainability for Business Forum (SBF) 2026, one of Thailand’s leading platforms dedicated to advancing sustainable business practices and driving meaningful change across industries.
Co-organized by the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC), Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC), Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce (STCC), and Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham), the forum brought together over 150 participants to exchange insights, share best practices, and explore innovative approaches to sustainability in an evolving global business landscape.
Driven by the shared vision of empowering businesses through economic, environmental, and social performance, SBF 2026 focused on three key sustainability tracks that are increasingly shaping business strategies worldwide.
The first track explored the role of Retail and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), highlighting how retailers can integrate circular economy principles, strengthen reverse logistics systems, and collaborate across value chains to reduce environmental impact while maintaining long-term business value. The discussion emphasized the growing importance of aligning business practices with evolving consumer expectations and regulatory developments.
The second track focused on Scope 3 Emissions, addressing one of the most significant challenges facing organizations today. Industry experts shared perspectives on measuring, reporting, and reducing indirect emissions throughout supply chains, while discussing the increasing importance of transparency, supplier engagement, and regulatory compliance in achieving net-zero ambitions.
The final track examined the future of E-Mobility and sustainable transportation. Speakers presented innovations in electric mobility, low-carbon logistics, and smart transport solutions that can help businesses reduce emissions while improving operational efficiency and supporting the transition toward more sustainable cities.
Beyond the insightful panel discussions, the forum provided valuable networking opportunities for participants to connect with sustainability practitioners, business leaders, policymakers, and solution providers. The networking cocktail reception allowed attendees to continue conversations, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations that can accelerate sustainable transformation across industries.
As sustainability continues to become a core business imperative, SBF 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing in addressing environmental and social challenges while creating long-term business value.
The organizing chambers would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all speakers, sponsors, partners, and participants for contributing to the success of this year's forum. Together, we continue to drive progress toward a more resilient, responsible, and sustainable future.
