SweCham Members Dinner & Awards Night 2025

Bangkok, 27 November 2025 — The Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham) proudly hosted the SweCham Members Dinner & Awards Night 2025 at the elegant Oriental Residence Bangkok, bringing together members, partners, and friends for an evening of celebration, connection, and appreciation. As we approach the end of the year, the event offered a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the achievements and collaborations that have shaped our community throughout 2025.

The programme began with Welcoming Remarks by Peter Björk, SweCham President, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members for their continued support and engagement. This was followed by an Embassy Address from Per Linnér, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Sweden, highlighting the strength of Swedish–Thai partnerships and a shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term collaboration.

We were also honoured to hear from Tim Leelahaphan, Executive Director and Senior Economist for Thailand and Vietnam at Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited, who delivered an insightful keynote on the economic trends expected in the coming year, including key perspectives on the Thai baht and political developments.

Celebrating Community & Excellence

Over a delightful dinner, guests enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the strong bonds within the SweCham community.

The highlight of the evening was the SweCham Awards Ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions across four distinguished categories:

·       Company of the Year Award: Electrolux

·       Businessperson of the Year Award: Anders Rain, Ericsson

·       Start-up of the Year Award: Softa

·       SweCham Engagement Award: Yigit Saricinar, Geodis

These awards honour excellence, leadership, and the positive impact that continues to strengthen the Swedish–Thai business community.

A Fun Finale

The evening concluded with a lively and much-enjoyed raffle activity, adding excitement and joy to the celebration.
