Valborg, Walputgis, Multi-Chambers Business Networking, 30 April 2025

On Wednesday, 30 April 2025, the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham) proudly hosted our first Valborg, Walpurgis Multi-Chambers Business Networking event at our member's stylish setting- Stock.Room, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok. 

This special occasion provided a unique and vibrant platform for international guests to experience themselves in the cherished Scandinavian tradition of Valborg while forging valuable professional connections in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. Celebrated across Northern Europe on 30 April, Walpurgis marks the welcoming of spring with lively music, joyful festivities, and a strong sense of community spirit. SweCham was delighted to bring this cultural experience to the heart of Bangkok. 

The success of the evening was significantly enhanced by the generous support of our sponsors. The evening commenced with a warm welcome welcoming remark from our President, Khun Peter Bjork. Following, attendees eagerly participated in a lucky draw, featuring an array of exciting prizes generously sponsored in kind by United relocations, Bartels, the O.S.S Bar, and Aleenta Retreat Chian Mai. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions, which added an element of fun and anticipation to the evening. 

This successful multi-chamber networking event was made even more impactful through the collaboration and support of our 14 supporting chambers. Together, we successfully celebrated this cherished Scandinavian tradition in the vibrant heart of Bangkok, fostering new relationships and strengthening existing ones. Special appreciation is also extended to our exceptional hotel partner, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, for their impeccable hospitality and for curating a bespoke Swedish-inspired menu that offered an authentic taste of Sweden to all attendees, further enhancing the cultural experience.
