Chamber Dinner with Minister Per Westerberg

As SweCham prepares for our  35th Anniversary Gala Dinner, we look back at key moments that have shaped our Chamber’s history. This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us to November 1993, when we hosted a Chamber Dinner with Sweden’s Minister of Commerce & Industry, Minister Per Westerberg.

Held at the Sukhothai Hotel, the event brought together 60 members and guests. Minister Westerberg delivered an engaging presentation on "The Swedish Economy in a Changing World" and later answered questions from the audience, sparking lively discussions, which included contributions from representatives of our members 𝗔𝗕𝗕 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘀, and 𝗦𝗞𝗙.

This dinner exemplified SweCham’s role in fostering knowledge-sharing and strengthening business ties between Sweden and Thailand. As we prepare for our 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 9th November, we celebrate this legacy of collaboration and valuable contributions of our dedicated members.
