SweCham participated in the EABC Luncheon: Welcome and Dialogue with the EU Ambassador to Thailand, organized by the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), on 31 March 2026 at Conrad Bangkok, bringing together key stakeholders from the European and Thai business communities.
The event gathered representatives from European chambers, business leaders, and policymakers to exchange views on EU–Thailand economic relations and foster closer cooperation.
The luncheon served as an important platform for open dialogue between the European business community and the EU Ambassador to Thailand. Discussions highlighted current economic trends, investment opportunities, and the evolving landscape of EU–Thailand relations.
Participants exchanged perspectives on how to enhance trade flows, improve the business environment, and support long-term sustainable growth. The session also underscored the importance of continued collaboration between the public and private sectors.
A key theme of the luncheon was the advancement of trade and investment ties between Europe and Thailand. Conversations touched on ongoing developments in EU–Thailand cooperation, including the role of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations in unlocking new opportunities for businesses on both sides.
The event reaffirmed the shared commitment of European chambers and their partners to promote economic integration, innovation, and competitiveness in the region.
SweCham’s participation reflects its ongoing dedication to supporting its members and strengthening the bridge between Swedish and Thai businesses. By engaging in platforms such as the EABC Luncheon, SweCham continues to contribute to constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and advocacy efforts that benefit the wider European business community in Thailand.
