On 15 September 2026, the SweCham office attended 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗡 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 in Bangkok, which brought together representatives from governments, businesses and civil society organisations from across Asia.
The forum created an open and engaging environment for exchanging perspectives on responsible business practices, human rights and sustainable development across the region.
Our team attended the session “𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲,” which explored the financial sector’s role in addressing adverse human-rights impacts and strengthening access to effective remedies in an increasingly complex global environment.
We were also pleased to see Sweden supporting this important platform, marking ten years of partnership between Sweden and UNDP in advancing business and human rights across Asia.
