On 18 June 2024, SweCham had the valuable opportunity to participate in an insightful webinar hosted by the Thailand Board of Investments (BOI) on ‘Doing Business in Thailand: Opportunities in the Bio-Circular-Green Economy’.

Johan has made significant contributions to the SweCham Team and Chamber throughout his internship.  He has been actively involved in various SweCham and Team Sweden events, consistently providing valuable support and insight.

Since 2018, SweCham has organised ‘Swedish Education and Career Days’ at the OCSC International Education Expo to promote Sweden as a study destination for Thai students.  Sweden's popularity as a study-abroad destination for Thai students has grown steadily in recent years. The success of previous editions of the event has also generated a significant increase in inquiries from high-calibre Thai students interested in pursuing their education in Sweden.

On 30 May 2024, SweCham Executive Director Dr Pojanath Bhatanacharoen visited Alfa Laval to continue expanding the network for the SweCham community.  A big thanks to Khun Prasit Sriadsadawutthakul, Vice President (Food and Water) SEA of Alfa Laval, Khun Theerawoot Norkhom, Regional Service Sales Manager, Food & water, SEA, and Khun Pacharamon Buranasompob, Regional Sales Director, Energy Division, SEA, for their warm hospitality.

On 28 May 2024, the SweCham Team continued our Member Visit of 2024 and this time, we were thrilled to visit our member, Securitas Thailand, at their office.  We were especially delighted to meet their new Country President, Mr Arnaud Ducrot.

On 29 May 2024, the SweCham Team had a great opportunity to visit Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok, one of the premier hotels in Bangkok’s luxury hotel sector, for a lunch meeting and venue tour.

On 27 May 2024, SweCham Executive Director Dr Pojanath Bhatanacharoen visited Axis Communications at their office for a fruitful discussion, aiming to explore our future collaborations.  We would also like to thank Khun Lee Oh Tee (Director, Strategic Growth Initiative South Asia Pacific), Khun Suphawaporn Siriudomdetku (National Sales Manager), and Khun Pikunkaew Pornpratan (Account Manager Thailand) for their warm welcome to the Axis Communications office.
