A few months have passed, and it is time to bid farewell to our outgoing interns, Athicha and Ditthita, students from Thammasat University.

On 22 August, SweCham team members attended an anti-corruption event hosted by the Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission, also known as PACC.  The focus was on the public service centre for investors and foreigners.   Secretary General of PACC Bhumivisan Kasemsook introduced several issues and goals.  Raising Thailand’s CPI Score, he emphasised the need to elevate Thailand’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI) score and that the PACC is committed to having a reliable Complaint Centre to improve foreign investors’ confidence by providing a dependable avenue for lodging complaints.

On 8 August 2023, the SweCham team had the opportunity to go to the C Asean forum (CaF 2023) for the 56th anniversary of ASEAN at the C ASEAN Auditorium, CW Tower.  The event focused on ASEAN as an 'Epicentrum of growth', emphasising collaboration between the ASEAN member states in how they can move forward in making Southeast Asia a centre of economic growth.

In previous weeks, our Vice President, Khun Tomas Julin, visited the SweCham office to discuss the progress of our new website and other marketing plans to deliver added value to our members.

On 25 July, SweCham team gathered for an exciting team building activity at Puzzle Room Bangkok and a delicious dinner at Mexicano at the Rembrandt Hotel!

Big warm thanks to Dr Duangamol N. Tungasmita from the Department of Chemistry and Dr Sukkaneste Tungasmita (Sweden alumnus, Linköping University) from the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science at Chulalongkorn University who visited SweCham on Thursday, 5 July.
