Enhancing Business Integrity with the PACC

Yesterday, our Vice President Tomas Julin, representing the Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham), jointly participated as a speaker in a significant event aimed at combating corruption in Thailand with the Joint Foreign Chamber of Commerce (JFCCT). The Capacity Building Programme for PACC Officials was organised by the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) to improve transparency and business integrity for foreign investors. 

The program's core objective is to boost confidence among foreign investors by providing a confidential platform for them to voice concerns and contribute to solutions for improving the business environment. This also strengthens the skills of PACC officials, enabling them to more effectively address corruption issues and build greater trust in the commission's work. 

SweCham’s involvement in this initiative highlights our commitment to working with key government bodies like the PACC to elevate the agenda of transparency and integrity, creating a more favorable and trustworthy environment for our members and all foreign businesses in Thailand.
