SweCham extends our congratulations to 𝗦𝗞𝗙 (𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱) 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 and 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗕𝗢𝗬𝘀 𝗫 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 on their remarkable performance at the 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Sweden. We are proud to see young Thai talent representing the country on the international stage and commend SKF for its continued commitment to youth development through sport.
𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗸, 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 – 𝗦𝗞𝗙 (𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱) 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱, a global leader in bearings and rotating equipment solutions, continues its commitment to youth development through sports by supporting 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗕𝗢𝗬𝘀 𝗫 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗, champions of the “𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗞𝗙 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗕𝟭𝟰 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲”, as Thailand’s representative at the 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the world’s largest youth football tournament, held in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Competing in the U14 category, the Thai team delivered an impressive performance, winning 𝟲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 and scoring a remarkable 𝟰𝟬 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, bringing pride and recognition to Thailand’s youth football community on the international stage.
𝗠𝗿. 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗽𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗷, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗞𝗙 (𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱) 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱, said:
“At SKF, we believe sport is a powerful platform for youth development. It helps young people build skills, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience while learning how to overcome challenges. Having the SKF Meet the World Thailand champions represent our country at the Gothia Cup is a source of great pride for SKF Thailand. Beyond the excellent results on the field, the most valuable outcomes are the experiences, learning opportunities, and friendships gained through participation in a truly global event. These experiences will inspire and empower the players as they continue their personal and athletic development.”
Prior to the tournament, the players and coaching staff participated in the 𝗦𝗞𝗙 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, hosted by SKF Sweden, alongside youth representatives from more than 𝟭𝟲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲. The event provided an opportunity for participants to connect and exchange experiences before entering the global competition.
The 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 welcomed more than 𝟰𝟱,𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀, representing 𝟭,𝟵𝟲𝟰 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟳𝟳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, making it one of the largest youth sporting events in the world. During the opening ceremony, FUTBOYs X PATTAYA UNITED proudly joined the grand parade, carrying Thailand’s national flag into the stadium. The team also drew attention with uniforms inspired by the 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁, a symbol of Thailand’s culture and identity, earning admiration from participants and spectators from around the world.
During the group stage, the team received encouragement from 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘆𝘀, 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻, who attended the opening match and met the young athletes at the sidelines. Her presence provided significant motivation to the players competing as representatives of Thailand.
The delegation was also warmly welcomed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶-𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲, as well as members of the Thai community in Sweden. Their continuous support, hospitality, and encouragement throughout the tournament contributed greatly to the players’ overall experience and well-being.

Overall, Thailand’s representatives recorded 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀, including 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀, scoring 𝟰𝟬 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 while conceding only 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲. The results demonstrate the potential and competitiveness of Thai youth footballers against some of the world’s strongest youth teams.
𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗿𝗮𝘁, 𝗦𝗞𝗙 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗞𝗙 (𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱) 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱, said:
“Every moment of this tournament has been a valuable learning experience for our young players. They had the opportunity to compete against teams from different countries, experience new cultures, manage pressure on the field, and proudly represent Thailand. We are immensely proud of their determination, discipline, and fighting spirit. SKF Thailand remains committed to creating opportunities that expose Thai youth to world-class experiences, and we believe this journey will inspire them to continue developing both as athletes and as individuals.”
