The Bastua collections from IKEA X MARIMEKKO

IKEA, the world-renowned furniture and home decor brand has collaborated with MARIMEKKO, a lifestyle brand from Finland to create the collection called ‘Bastua’.  This collection is inspired by Nordic nature, health and wellness, and self-care practices.  It features a total of 26 items ranging from furniture to glassware and textiles, all adorned with bright and lively prints that reflect the signature Marimekko style. 

The name ‘Bastua’ refers to a type of sauna in southern Sweden where Ikea was founded, and this collection draws on the Nordic tradition of self-care and relaxation.  The items in the Bastua collection are designed to bring joy and comfort to everyday life, encouraging people to take a moment to relax, unwind, and enjoy the simple things in life.
