Her academic background has provided her with a solid foundation in international affairs, global cooperation, and cross-cultural communication. During her internship at SweCham, Khun Rucheeyapha will play a crucial role in supporting and executing Chamber initiatives, projects, events, and operational activities. Through this role, she will gain valuable exposure to international business issues, trade and commercial matters, as well as business dynamics in Thailand and the wider region. Khun Rucheeyapha is eager to apply her academic knowledge and language skills while building a strong professional network and deepening her understanding of how communication strategies support international business cooperation and sustainable development. This unique setting, steeped in both history and exclusivity, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and good fun. To engage the participants, there was a networking game designed to break the ice. The game involved cards that were cut up, and participants had to find their matching halves! The prize for the game was a raffle ticket, and for the lucky, fine prizes. The event served as a precious reminder of the Nordics, evoking a sense of homesickness. This event fostered a sense of community, and we wish to extend our thanks to the Thai-Nordic Association, and to their chairman Kim Alexandersen and vice chairman Alexander Wetterling for inviting us to a wonderful evening! He is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After having studied a semester in Thailand, he is now ready to take the next step in his journey as an intern here at Swecham. With previous experience in e-commerce, online-marketing and event management, it is a huge opportunity for him to apply it in a different part of the world. He hopes to gain international experience to give himself a broader perspective about working and building relations with people all over the world. Liam is a second-year student in International Business and IT at the University of Borås. He is currently at the end of an exchange at Panyapiwat Institute of Management for this semester. After one year in the Swedish Armed Forces, Liam decided to change route into the world of academics. Having previous experience in event hosting, group leading and marketing, Liam is hoping to develop and acquire a more extensive knowledge in his role as Event and Marketing Coordinator, while also gaining general experience with new cultures and networks.
