One of the insights found is that the Swedish companies have a positive outlook where 84% expect their revenue to grow the coming three years, of which more than 30% expect growth over 20%. < Back AI Fundamentals Workshop with System in Motion, Friday 10 October 2025 On 10 October 2025, SweCham , in collaboration with System in Motion (SIM) , successfully hosted the AI Fundamentals Workshop — an exclusive, high-impact session aimed at unlocking the power of AI text and reasoning models for business applications. Tailored specifically for professionals in Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources, the workshop provided a practical, non-technical introduction to how artificial intelligence can streamline operations, improve decision-making, and provide a competitive edge. Over the course of three intensive hours, participants were guided through five focused chapters and two practical exercises, transforming complex AI concepts into actionable business tools — all without requiring a technical background. The workshop was led by Gonzague Patinier – Trainer for Thailand & Vietnam at PPP Partners , and Mishari Muqbil – CEO of Zymple . Their expertise and hands-on guidance were instrumental in making the session both insightful and actionable, equipping attendees with the confidence and clarity to begin integrating AI into their own workflows. Participants had the opportunity to dive deep into the following topics: Understanding how AI can create text and its real uses in your work: Real-world examples showed how businesses are using AI to save time and effort across departments. Learning how to talk to AI to get the best results: Attendees learned how to structure prompts effectively using the ERCFC framework to maximize AI performance. This unique setting, steeped in both history and exclusivity, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and good fun. To engage the participants, there was a networking game designed to break the ice. The game involved cards that were cut up, and participants had to find their matching halves! The prize for the game was a raffle ticket, and for the lucky, fine prizes. The event served as a precious reminder of the Nordics, evoking a sense of homesickness. This event fostered a sense of community, and we wish to extend our thanks to the Thai-Nordic Association, and to their chairman Kim Alexandersen and vice chairman Alexander Wetterling for inviting us to a wonderful evening! Let's recap and celebrate these cherished moments! On 8 June 2024, SweCham was delighted to host the Swedish National Day and Midsummer Lunch Celebration at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok. In a partnership with Sweden Alumni Network Thailand (SANT) , Swedish Women's Educational Association (SWEA) Bangkok , and Thai-Nordic Association (TNA) , over 80 participants joined in a joyful celebration of the much-cherished Swedish traditions and fostered meaningful connections. Special thanks to Dr James Daziel, Head of School at NIST , our Silver Event Sponsor for your generous support! At the event, SweCham warmly welcomed attendees for flower crown binding and fishpond activities, all supported by SWEA, before our delightful lunch. Our esteemed guests were presented with a delicious, diverse buffet including midsummer classic dishes and Swedish favourite desserts. Following the buffet, the event was filled with excitement as our guests joined in the fun of the SweCham National Day and Midsummer Quiz, which is a chance to win some special rewards! We also celebrated our Swedish tradition through cheerful Swedish summer songs with excellent support from SWEA. Big thanks to Khun Lina Eidmark, Khun Jens Lager and Miss Alma Lager for their excellent summer songs performance which had everyone up and dancing around the Midsummer pole. As a highlight of the Midsummer Lunch, we held our popular raffle game.
