At the SweCham Board Meeting 2024.03 held last night, a new SweCham Vice President has been elected.

On 25 April, the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok hosted a meeting with distributors and importers of Swedish products, together with Team Sweden representatives from Business Sweden and SweCham.

The Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham) in Bangkok is pleased to announce an internship position for a recent or upcoming graduate of Swedish nationality.  The living costs will be covered by Ingvar Krook's Grant.  The internship will allow the successful applicant to work at the SweCham office for 6 to 10 months starting from September 2024.

On Tuesday, 30 April, Business Sweden and Team Sweden, including the Embassy of Sweden and Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham), hosted the launch of 'Pioneer the Possible Thailand' at Samyan Mitrtown.  The programme focuses on three themes, green production, green mobility, and energy transition and is supported by Ericsson, Camfil, Electrolux Professional, Reflex, Hitachi Energy, Midsummer, Siemens Energy, and Volvo Cars Thailand.

This year, SweCham member, ลิฟต์บ้าน Aritco Thailand: Home Lift from Sweden, is exhibiting at the Architect’24, the 36th ASEAN’s largest building technology exposition.  Our Executive Director, Dr Pojanath Bhatanacharoen, also visited them at the booth and was warmly welcomed by Khun Jutharat Hongkhajorn, Assistant to the Managing Director.

On 22 April, the SweCham team visited our member, NIST International School, in which we were warmly welcomed by Dr James Dalziel (Head of School) and Khun Yvonne Trisynthia (Director of Engagement).
