On Tuesday, the SweCham team had the pleasure of welcoming Khun Patcharee Yodpratum (Business Sweden Consultant, Thailand incl. Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR) to discuss the ongoing impact study on the Swedish footprint in Thailand.

SweCham, Norcham and TFCC hosted a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) game!
SweCham, Norcham and TFCC hosted a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) game, organised by the Chair of the JFCCT Sustainability Committee, Mr. Lars Svensson, Chief Executive of the Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC). This event took place prior to the JFCCT Presidents Council Meeting, the game was attended by the JFCCT Chair Ms. Vibeke Lyssand Liervag, SweCham President Mr. Peter Björk, and other chamber Presidents and Chairs. The SDG game is a simulation reflecting our real-world challenges in achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

JFCCT Presidents’ Council Meeting hosted by the Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish Chambers of Commerce!
SweCham, in partnership with Norcham and the TFCC, hosted the JFCCT Presidents' Council Luncheon at The Rembrandt Hotel & Suites Bangkok on 21 February 2024. We would like to extend big thanks to the embassy representatives, Miika Tomi, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Finland, Eirik Wold Sanda, First Secretary, Embassy of Norway and Mrs. Anna Jakenberg Brinck, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sweden.

Embracing and prioritising gender diversity in the workplace – because inclusivity is not just a goal, it's a commitment!
On 12 February 2024, SweCham attended a one-day conference on ‘Business, Gender Diversity and the Path Ahead,’ hosted by BJC/Big C Group.
The event was opened by the Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin. Followed by a presentation from Professor Emeritus Mr. Vitit Muntarbhorn of the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University. He spoke on the importance of Business and Gender diversity for transformative change, as well as being an excellent moderator of the panel discussions.
