The Swedish Institute has launched a new global leadership programme, SI Global Executive Programme 2024, a completely funded and tailored programme for forward-thinking business executives and top corporate leaders from 22 countries across the world.  One of these countries is Thailand!  Offering the opportunity to leverage Swedish expertise in the green transition and knowledge toolkit for integrating sustainability as a core strategic imperative in business.

This week, the SweCham team visited our Member, ABB Thailand, at their new Head Office located at the Q. House Lumpini Building.

We were delighted to welcome the ASSA ABLOY Team to the SweCham Office yesterday. '   We would like to warmly welcome the new Director and General Manager, Thailand, Khun Moritz Arndt, Marketing and Product Manager, Khun Kanokwan Kitrungpaiboon, Product and Marketing Director, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions SEA, Khun Leon Flores III, and Human Resources Director, SEA Emerging Market, Khun Melanie D. Villena.

Last Friday, Dr Pojanath Bhatanacharoen, our Executive Director, and Khun Thittiya Sommana, our Events and Marketing Officer, had the pleasure of visiting the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) office, alongside the Netherland-Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce.

SweCham, Jönköping University and University West are making it easier for this year's batch of exchange students from Sweden to get to know Bangkok with an introduction to the city and to Thailand.  This time the presentation took place at Sasin School of Management, with a short introduction by Mr. Lars Svensson, Chief Executive at Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC).

We were thrilled to welcome Tand Co. Ltd., the official distributor of TePe in Thailand, Toothbrush by dentists, in Thailand since 2010, to the SweCham Office yesterday.

SweCham Team had the pleasure of attending the Nordic Film Festival in Bangkok, held at the Danish Embassy on 19 – 20 January, commenced with an illustrious opening night, showcasing the rich cinematic heritage of the Nordic countries.

On the evening of Tuesday, 16 January, SweCham had the pleasure of supporting the Swedish Institute Management Program’s (SIMP) Diploma ceremony with the Swedish Alumni Network Thailand (SANT) held at the Swedish Residence.
