Jönköping University's School of Engineering (JTH) has been granted 49.2 million SEK by the KK Foundation for the GRACE research profile. This initiative, spanning from 2024 to 2032, aims to accelerate the green transition within the Swedish manufacturing industry. GRACE will focus on integrated and platform-based product development, enhancing long-term capabilities for sustainable transformation. The project involves collaboration with eleven companies, including Autoliv, Husqvarna and SAAB. The project aims to develop new processes, knowledge, and support for product realisation that incorporate sustainability from the outset.
