- IKEA X SweCham at Swedish Week 2025, 5 to 11 April 2025
< Back IKEA X SweCham at Swedish Week 2025, 5 to 11 April 2025 From April 5th to 11th, 2025, SweCham proudly collaborated with IKEA and four of our esteemed Swedish member companies— Electrolux , Fitness24Seven , Fysik , and THE THREE BY TPV —to host a vibrant Swedish Week, celebrating the launch of the new Stockholm 25 collection. Guests at IKEA Bangna's Smaland area were immersed in engaging activities, captivating product showcases, and compelling storytelling that beautifully connected Swedish innovation with the rich tapestry of local culture. The Stockholm 25 collection epitomizes IKEA's democratic design ethos, seamlessly uniting elegant Scandinavian aesthetics with premium materials and exceptional functionality, all offered at an accessible price point. Each piece thoughtfully embodies five core principles: form, function, quality, sustainability, and affordability, ensuring enduring beauty and lasting durability. This significant launch was perfectly aligned with our Swedish Week campaign, a joint initiative dedicated to sharing the essence of Swedish values and the Scandinavian lifestyle. Much like the timeless design and meticulous detail of the STOCKHOLM collection create warm and inviting homes, Swedish Week aimed to convey the core tenets of Scandinavian living – a profound appreciation for functionality, the beauty of natural materials, and a strong emphasis on well-being. By democratizing sustainable and high-quality design, the STOCKHOLM collection powerfully reflects the very principles we championed throughout Swedish Week. We invited attendees to discover firsthand how Swedish design can elevate their daily lives. Furthermore, this collaborative campaign between SweCham, our valued members, and friends served as a dynamic platform to strengthen the bonds between Swedish businesses and the Thai public. It fostered cultural exchange and facilitated soft diplomacy, directly supporting SweCham’s core mission to promote Swedish interests within Thailand. We encourage you to learn more about the innovative Swedish brands that enriched this event: Electrolux is a leading global appliance company that has shaped living for the better for more than 100 years. Henrik, a personal trainer with a love for design and craftsmanship, teamed up with Amm, who brought years of experience from the steel industry. Together, they set out to rethink gym equipment—making it not just functional, but beautiful too. The idea first came about while they were setting up their own personal training studio. They didn’t want the usual bulky, intimidating machines. Instead, they imagined gym pieces that felt more like sculptural furniture—something you’d be proud to have in your home. What began as a small idea quickly grew. Today, FYSIK is known around the world for its handcrafted equipment that blends clean Scandinavian design with the warmth and skill of Thai craftsmanship. You’ll find FYSIK pieces in luxury homes, five-star hotels, boutique gyms—and even on Hollywood film sets. - Preventing Dengue Fever with Vaccine by BNH Hospital [Member Promotion]
Dengue Fever is a viral infection transmitted by the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, causing epidemics worldwide, especially in countries with hot and humid climates like Thailand. < Back Preventing Dengue Fever with Vaccine by BNH Hospital [Member Promotion] 12 Sept 2023 Dengue Fever is a viral infection transmitted by the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, causing epidemics worldwide, especially in countries with hot and humid climates like Thailand. This fever is caused by any one of four types of dengue viruses, which are DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4. Should you have had dengue fever in the past, you can still be infected again by the other virus types. In addition, previous infection with dengue fever increases your risk of severe symptoms if you get dengue fever again. Prevention 📌 Vaccine: If you live in an area where there is an outbreak or at risk of infection, getting vaccinated might be another preventive measure. 📌 Eradicate mosquito breeding sites: Eliminate breeding grounds for mosquitoes, such as water bottles, rainwater pipes, water tanks, or use chemicals to kill mosquito larvae. 📌 Prevent mosquito bites: Use mosquito repellent and wear clothing that covers the skin. Apply skin repellents or spray them on clothes. Use mosquito nets when sleeping. 📌 Monitor symptoms: If initial symptoms resembling dengue fever appear, such as high fever, body aches, and headaches, you should see a doctor immediately for diagnosis and treatment. Dengue Fever Vaccine at BNH Hospital A new-generation vaccine Only 2 injections are required (with a 3-month gap) Suitable for ages of 4 to 60 It can be administered to both individuals who have had dengue fever before and those who have not Protection against all 4 strains of dengue fever is up to 80.2% Reduces hospitalisation and disease severity up to 90.4% For more information or appointment, please contact: 📧 Email: info@bnh.co.th ☎️ Call: 02-020-0700 🌐 Website: www.bnhhospital.com To explore other news and activities from SweCham and our members, please visit: www.swecham.com Previous Next
