A recent graduate of Durham University with a postgraduate degree in International Relations, Anee brings a wealth of experience to the role. Her time as a content creator for the Durham Marketing Department allowed her to share the international student experience with a global audience. Additionally, Anee has honed her business acumen through her work with a Korean agency on developing a new K-street food brand. Passionate about storytelling and cross-cultural understanding, Anee is excited to contribute to the growth of Thai-Swedish business relations through innovative events and marketing strategies.   • Embracing and prioritising gender diversity in the workplace – because inclusivity is not just a goal, it's a commitment!

    On 12 February 2024, SweCham attended a one-day conference on ‘Business, Gender Diversity and the Path Ahead,’ hosted by BJC/Big C Group.  The event was opened by the Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin. Followed by a presentation from Professor Emeritus Mr. Vitit Muntarbhorn of the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University.  He spoke on the importance of Business and Gender diversity for transformative change, as well as being an excellent moderator of the panel discussions.  < Back Embracing and prioritising gender diversity in the workplace – because inclusivity is not just a goal, it's a commitment! 16 Feb 2024 On 12 February 2024, SweCham attended a one-day conference on ‘Business, Gender Diversity and the Path Ahead,’ hosted by BJC/Big C Group. The first panel discussion was with multiple ambassadors, H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, Ambassador of Norway, H.E. Mr.Jyri Järviaho, Ambassador of Finland, H.E. Mr. Mark Gooding, Ambassador of the United Kingdom, H.E. Ms. Ping Kitnikone, Ambassador of Canada and Mrs. Anna Jakenberg Brinck , Deputy Head of Mission Sweden. The panel discussion highlighted what is done in each country, both the positive and what issues that the countries are facing. Khun Anna Jakenberg Brinck highlighted that it is important that we view gender diversity and equality as something we must work on everyday, to not slip behind. The event provided an opportunity for all participants to learn and share perspectives and experience through discussion in a relaxing setting. The event began with welcoming remarks by Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvag, Chairwoman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT), followed by a Keynote Speech by Mr Phairush Burapachaisri, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand. After the Keynote Speech, an Ambassadors and chamber Presidents Group photo session was held, and then the event ended with an open networking session.
