SweCham along with other presidents and executive directors of foreign chambers in Thailand discussed the topic of ’Business Opportunity: Expo 2028 Phuket Thailand’ < Back SweCham President and Executive Director joined a meeting hosted by TCEB 12 Jun 2023 On 6 June, SweCham President, Mr. Peter Björk, and Executive Director, Dr. Pojanath Bhatanacharoen, joined a meeting hosted by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to discuss and share perspectives on the topic of ’Business Opportunity: Expo 2028 Phuket Thailand’ along with other presidents and executive directors of foreign chambers in Thailand. At the meeting, the President of TCEB, Mr. Chiruit Isrankun Na Avuthava, welcomed all attendees, and the Senior Vice President, Dr. Supawan Teerarat, delivered the Expo 2028 Phuket briefing. The discussion covered business opportunities and partnerships related to the Expo to highlight development and solutions towards sustainability, medicine, and wellness. Since Thailand provides easy access to Southeast Asia and South Asia, the Expo 2028 Phuket Thailand will offer unique perspectives, experiences, and business opportunities. This gathering warmly welcomed representatives from foreign chambers of commerce, embassies, and both the public and private sectors, providing an insightful overview of Thailand's comprehensive strategies and investment promotion policies. The event commenced with welcoming remarks from Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment. Subsequently, a keynote address, "Endless Investment Opportunities in Thailand," was graciously delivered by H.E.
