- 5 Things to Consider Before Buying Safety Shoes
While safety shoes started to become an essential part of many workplaces, buying the right pair of safety shoes might be challenging. < Back 5 Things to Consider Before Buying Safety Shoes 15 May 2023 As more people become conscious of the importance of safety at their workplace, the demand for safety shoes has increased. While safety shoes started to become an essential part of many workplaces, buying the right pair of safety shoes might be challenging. With so many different types and brands available, you need to carefully consider your options before making a purchase. Five things to consider before buying a pair of safety shoes: 1. Protection Level There are many types of safety shoes on the market. Each provides a different level and type of protection. It all depends on the components of the safety shoes. The thickness of the shoe upper can tell us the durability of the safety shoe itself. Steel toe caps protect the impact from falling objects. Composite midsoles have the feature of the anti-penetration of sharp objects. Each type of outsoles has different functions, either oil, chemical, or slip resistance. The material of the outsole itself can also determine the levels of heat resistance. Know your requirement and pick the right pair of safety shoes with all the components you need for your work application. 2. Comfort Sometimes safety shoes need to be worn for long working hours, they should be as comfortable as possible. Always find shoes that fit your feet well and have enough padding for comfort. Additionally, choose shoes with a breathable material to keep your feet cool and dry throughout the day. 3. Durability Considering the durability of the shoes is crucial cause you do not want to replace them too often. A pair of durable shoes will ensure the user with maximum protection and prevent injury. One main factor for durability will be the material itself. Seek safety shoes made from high-quality materials such as genuine leather will offerlong-lasting support and wear well over a certain period. 4. Style The shoe style is not the top priority when comes to safety shoes, but it should not be overlooked. The design can affect how comfortable the shoes feel, primarily if you work in a job that requires a lot of movement. Selecting a pair of functional and stylish shoes will help boost overall performance with confidence. 5. Cost The cost of safety shoes varies widely depending on the type and quality. While cheaper options may be tempting, investing in a high-quality pair of safety shoes can save you money in the long run by lasting longer and providing better protection. Set a budget and stick to it, while still considering the above factors that have been mentioned. In conclusion, choosing the right safety shoes requires careful consideration of various factors, including protection level, comfort, durability, style, and cost. By taking these factors into account, you can find a pair of shoes that provide optimal protection, comfort, and functionality for your job. With Pangolin’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we have always been a trusted choice for workers and employers. - Thailand Monthly Economic Monitor for April 2025 | SweCham
< Back Thailand Monthly Economic Monitor for April 2025 Thailand's economic activity showed mixed signals in February. Steady consumption and strong exports were offset by a sharp contraction in private investment due to rising uncertainty. World Bank Thailand - Thailand's economic activity showed mixed signals in February . Steady consumption and strong exports were offset by a sharp contraction in private investment due to rising uncertainty. Goods exports remained a key driver, bolstered by robust shipments to the US and China, in part due to frontloading amid rising global trade uncertainties. However, mounting risks from global trade uncertainty are a concern. The tourism recovery softened, influenced by seasonal factors and a decline in Chinese arrivals. Additionally, the recent earthquake may negatively impact future tourist numbers. Inflation continued to decline in March, prompting further monetary easing. Financial markets weakened as risk-off sentiment and policy uncertainty eroded investor confidence, resulting in Thai baht depreciation despite a strong current account surplus.
