Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR) to discuss the ongoing impact study on the Swedish footprint in Thailand. As a long-standing partner of Business Sweden, SweCham was delighted to share our insights and experiences. For several years, SweCham has collaborated with the Swedish Embassy, Business Sweden, and the Swedish Alumni Network in Thailand (SANT) to promote Swedish culture and education in Thailand through various activities and events. During the meeting, our Executive Director Dr Pojanath Bhatanacharoen, exchanged knowledge and shared valuable insights from past activities, key milestones in Swedish-Thai diplomatic relations, and future collaboration opportunities. The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Khun Anna Olsson-Moore, the Executive Director of SweCham. Following this, a highlight of the event was an insightful speech delivered by Khun Nunnapat Niewkratoke and Khun Peter Elbaum of The Three by TPV, who shared their inspiring story and insights into their start-up. Built upon extensive business experience, their presentation offered a personal and compelling glimpse into their creative vision. After this engaging session, attendees were invited to explore The Three by TPV's exquisite collections firsthand, experiencing their exceptional quality and innovative design. < Back Sweden Pavilion at the OCSC International Education Expo 2025, Sat-Sun 15-16 November 2025 From 15 - 16 November 2025, the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham) , in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok , proudly presented the Sweden Pavilion in the OCSC International Education Expo 2025 , welcoming a large number of students, parents, educators, and young professionals eager to learn about studying in one of the world’s most innovative and forward-thinking countries. Exploring Study Opportunities in Sweden Over the two-day expo, visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from KTH Royal Institute of Technology , Uppsala University , and the Swedish Institute (SI) . Attendees learned about a wide range of academic programmes, scholarship options, student life, research pathways, and career prospects across Sweden’s renowned education and innovation ecosystem. The pavilion served as a valuable information hub where prospective students could explore Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD opportunities while gaining practical insights into application timelines, funding options, and preparations for studying abroad. This year’s participation was made possible through strong collaboration with our partners - the Sweden Alumni Network in Thailand (SANT) , shared their authentic experiences of studying and living in Sweden, helping visitors understand the academic culture, everyday life, and the personal and professional growth that studying in Sweden offers. The event also featured engaging discussions and one-on-one consultations, giving participants the chance to connect directly with experts, ask questions, and receive personalised guidance. The interactive atmosphere highlighted Sweden’s welcoming and student-centered approach to education. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all visitors, partners, and contributors who made this year’s Sweden Pavilion a success. Prior to that, she gained event experience as an intern with the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand. Last Tuesday, SweCham, Sasin School of Management, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC) came together to foster a sustainable future through collaborative efforts. < Back Exciting Collaboration for a Sustainable MICE Industry! 7 Mar 2024 Last Tuesday, SweCham, Sasin School of Management , Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) , and Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC) came together to foster a sustainable future through collaborative efforts. In addition, we held a productive meeting to discuss potential collaborations for a sustainability event this year. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for us to share our ongoing sustainability projects and explore potential avenues for collaboration. Notably, TCEB has been dedicated to promoting sustainable practices within the MICE industry. They plan to host events showcasing initiatives undertaken by private organisations, aiming to raise awareness and encourage the adoption of sustainable event practices among their staff and representatives from other public organisations in Thailand. Moreover, Sasin School of Management, renowned for their impactful graduates and dedication to sustainable business practices, emerged as a perfect partner for this project. Their expertise and commitment to sustainability align perfectly with TCEB's goal to advance their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda within the MICE industry. Special thanks to Khun Lars Svensson (Chief Executive of Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Centre) for hosting this meeting and providing a tour of the impressive Sasin’s facilities!
