The meeting aimed to offer opportunities for these businesses to share their challenges while further expanding the network of the Thailand-Sweden business community. At the meeting, the Ambassador of Sweden to Thailand, H.E. Anna Hammargren, provided some key facts on the broad relationship between Sweden and Thailand. Around 100 Swedish companies currently operate in Thailand, some with a long history in the country. In addition, the Embassy is stepping up efforts to develop trade and investments aligned with a new Swedish Government strategy on foreign trade, strengthening Sweden's position as a partner for green and digital transition. On this occasion, the SweCham Team, presented by Dr. Pojanath Bhatanacharoen (Executive Director) and Khun Thittiya Sommana (Events and Marketing Officer), along with the Business Sweden Team, presented by Khun Kacper Pierzynowski (Country Manager) and Khun Patcharee Yodpratum (Consultant, Thailand incl. Our goals were to introduce our organisations to all the participants and understand the barriers and concerns that distributors and importers may have. Moreover, Dr. Pojanath also shared SweCham's advocacy work, offering insights into how SweCham could support Swedish-related companies in Thailand. This support ranges from providing business opportunities through various networking activities to working closely with other trade associations and organisations, serving as a voice for our members' interests. Finally, it was our pleasure to be part of this meeting to understand the needs of Swedish companies in Thailand. This knowledge will be used to develop future projects and events that empower the growing Swedish business community. Previous Next
