< Back Sweden Pavilion at the OCSC International Education Expo 2025, Sat-Sun 15-16 November 2025 From 15 - 16 November 2025, the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham) , in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok , proudly presented the Sweden Pavilion in the OCSC International Education Expo 2025 , welcoming a large number of students, parents, educators, and young professionals eager to learn about studying in one of the world’s most innovative and forward-thinking countries. Exploring Study Opportunities in Sweden Over the two-day expo, visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from KTH Royal Institute of Technology , Uppsala University , and the Swedish Institute (SI) . Attendees learned about a wide range of academic programmes, scholarship options, student life, research pathways, and career prospects across Sweden’s renowned education and innovation ecosystem. The pavilion served as a valuable information hub where prospective students could explore Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD opportunities while gaining practical insights into application timelines, funding options, and preparations for studying abroad. This year’s participation was made possible through strong collaboration with our partners - the Sweden Alumni Network in Thailand (SANT) , shared their authentic experiences of studying and living in Sweden, helping visitors understand the academic culture, everyday life, and the personal and professional growth that studying in Sweden offers. Team Sweden conducted a business climate survey among Swedish companies in Thailand in May of 2022 to ascertain how Swedish companies performed in 2021 as well as their expectations for 2022 and onwards. The survey, led by Business Sweden and supported by the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok, provides an opportunity for Swedish companies in Thailand to share their valuable opinions on business-related issues. The 2022 Business Climate Survey results indicated that Swedish companies have not been unaffected by a more difficult business climate during the last three years. The turnover expectations in Thailand are currently showcasing a strong positive outlook towards the future. Of the surveyed companies, 77 per cent believe their turnover will increase slightly or significantly in the upcoming 12 months. In summary, the finding concluded that the Swedish industry in Thailand is doing well from a purely financial point of view, but it is not a market without its challenges and shortcomings.
