Their shared objective is to develop solar energy, wind power, and battery storage projects as independent power producers, serving private off-takers and participating in future auctions under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Scheme. With a focus on high-quality, low-carbon technology and sustainable project development practices guided by an ESG framework, the partnership aims to benefit stakeholders, the environment, and local communities. The event was a heartwarming celebration of Swedish traditions, bringing the community together to embrace the festive spirit. The day began with a warm welcome of Vinglögg (mulled wine ) , accompanied by the melodious sounds of Christmas carols that set the perfect holiday mood. Guests indulged in an authentic Julbord buffet, featuring classic Swedish dishes, while participating in a lively Christmas Quiz and an exciting Raffle Draw that added a playful energy to the celebration. In 2023, Rapid Asia conducted research on ‘Decent work and responsible business practices in Thailand’s automotive manufacturing sector’ in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO). < Back Explore Thailand's Auto Industry: A Joint ILO-RAPID Asia Study on Decent Work and Responsible Business 21 Jun 2024 In 2023, Rapid Asia conducted research on ‘Decent work and responsible business practices in Thailand’s automotive manufacturing sector’ in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO). This research project thoroughly analyses Thailand’s automotive manufacturing supply chain, its status vis-à-vis decent work, and responsible business conduct. The findings highlight the global requirements for human rights due diligence and responsible business practices in global supply chains (including automotive). Meanwhile, the analysis emphasised disparities between categories in the automotive workforce and implications for the implementation of responsible business practices in the Thai automotive sector. Thank you very much to all our members who participated in the EGM! We really appreciate you taking your time to support us and it was very nice to catch up with you! The main item on the agenda was to approve the change of address from Chamchuri Square to CP Tower 3, a decision that considered both the improved working environment for the SweCham team and the reduction of our costs. Following a consensus, the SweCham members gave formal approval to the address change, and we will officially relocate on 31 July.
