The visit offered participants valuable insights into both Volvo's sustainable initiatives and their cutting-edge warehouse technology. During the tour around their facility, we also had the opportunity to explore their warehouse management process. In addition, we were particularly impressed by how Volvo Car Thailand is utilising advanced technologies to transform their entire vehicle production process towards sustainability. These were the highlights from our visit: ♻️ Sustainability at its core The VCT CDTC, capable of storing up to 550 Volvo cars, utilises 100% renewable energy sources, including a solar roof that is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 215 tons annually! In addition, this system is designed to support Volvo's long-term plans for Thailand. ✨ Quality you can trust Volvo's comprehensive warehouse management plan integrates five key functions: Distribution Centre, Pre-Delivery Service, Parts Distribution Centre, Training Centre, and Press Car Centre. • OECD Anti-Corruption Toolkit, 2022 | SweCham

< Back OECD Anti-Corruption Toolkit, 2022 The Toolkit for Raising Awareness and Combating Corruption in SMEs published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2022 Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) dominate the commercial world, contribute significantly to global GDP, and drive innovation and job creation. However, they frequently lack the resources required to stay up with anti-corruption and compliance best practices. Therefore, they are particularly vulnerable to bribery and corruption as their exposure to corruption risks is often comparable to that of larger organisations. The Toolkit for Raising Awareness and Combating Corruption in SMEs published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2022 aims to identify practical ways that governments and other stakeholders can involve SMEs in the fight against corruption. The publication evaluates the dangers of foreign bribery and corruption for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and provides a toolkit for raising awareness of the necessity of implementing anti-corruption measures using information from research, interviews with SMEs, business organizations, and legal experts, among other sources. In addition to the Toolkit for rising awareness and combating corruption in SMEs, the paper on anti-corruption compliance in times of crisis, aids us in assessing the impact of crises, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing economic crisis, on anti-corruption compliance objectives, resources, and operations. The paper also suggests how businesses may better address the risks of corruption during crisis and how governments can better assist them.
